Pelvic Floor Therapy & Male Pelvic Health in Philadelphia

Holistic Pelvic Health Philadelphia

What is Pelvic Floor Therapy?

Pelvic floor therapy is a specialized approach designed to restore strength, balance, and coordination in the muscles that support your bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs. When these muscles become tense, weak, or uncoordinated, they can contribute to issues such as pelvic pain, incontinence, constipation, or sexual dysfunction.

Much like traditional physical therapy, treatment sessions are tailored to your individual needs and goals. Depending on your comfort level and clinical assessment, your therapist may use both external and internal techniques to help the tissues relax, lengthen, and function optimally.

Male provider offering specialized care for men’s pelvic health concerns.

Male pelvic floor issues, like chronic prostatitis, post-prostatectomy incontinence, erectile dysfunction, sexual pain or CPPS, often carry unique stigmas that make opening up tough. As one of the only male pelvic health specialists in the Philadelphia region,  Dr. Jonathan Schehr brings a perspective that normalizes these conversations and builds  trust so you take care of your business and get back to enjoying life.
