Holistic Treatment
Holistic treatment is a whole-body approach to physical therapy that looks beyond isolated symptoms to address the underlying patterns contributing to pain, tension, and dysfunction. Care may include manual therapy, pelvic floor therapy, movement assessment, and individualized treatment for orthopedic, pelvic, and chronic pain concerns.
Holistic treatment is an individualized, whole-body approach to physical therapy that considers how the musculoskeletal, pelvic, visceral, and nervous systems work together. Rather than focusing only on the area where symptoms are felt, this approach looks for the underlying contributors to pain, restriction, weakness, and movement dysfunction.
Treatment may be helpful for orthopedic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic tension, postural strain, digestive-related abdominal tension, and complex or persistent symptoms that have not fully improved with more localized care. By assessing the body as an interconnected system, holistic treatment can help identify how issues in one region may be influencing comfort and function in another.
Sessions may include manual therapy, soft tissue and joint-based treatment, pelvic floor therapy, movement assessment, corrective exercise, breathing strategies, and other integrative techniques based on your needs. The goal is to reduce pain, improve mobility, restore function, and support long-term healing through personalized care that treats the whole person, not just one body part.
